The Name of Jesus

As we continue in our study through the book of Acts, this week Peter guides us through Acts 4:1-22. In the story we see that Peter and John are arrested and face the Jewish leadership. Peter shares the gospel and proclaims, "There is salvation in non one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved." Peter encourages us that we can speak with boldness by the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit. Jesus, and Jesus alone saves us. He is, "the stone rejected by you builders, which has become the cornerstone."
