Arise

Happy Easter! On this Resurrection Sunday we consider the healing of Aeneas and Tabitha. The healings highlight the power of Jesus and serve to advance the good news that Jesus heals. The healings are a sign that in the name of Jesus, one day all those who have faith in Him will be healed forever in the resurrection. The hope of the gospel is not simply resuscitation, but resurrection. The invitation to us from the story, is that we would believe and follow Jesus. We pray that you would experience Jesus in His Word and through His Church. We pray as we behold his glory that we would experience the joy, peace, and hope of the resurrection in the process of becoming more and more like Him.
