The Consequence and the Cure for Sin

Dec 3, 2023    Cary Jester

This week as we begin our study through Advent we consider the need for the coming of Jesus from Genesis 3:1-24. From the text, Cary shows us how in Genesis 3 we see the following three things:

1) The context of sin

2) The consequences of sin

3) The cure for sin

As we being Advent, it is good to be reminded of the gift of Jesus' birth, life, death, and resurrection. He is worthy of all our focus, praise, and joy this Christmas Season. Jesus has saved us from sin, Satan, and death. He crushed the enemy on the cross. He died in our place taking the consequences of sin upon Himself, and He gives new life to all who repent and believe in Him. God so loved the world that He gave his only Son Jesus, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
