Community Groups

Getting to know others and being known by others

Community groups are starting back up the week of September 7th! More details will be shared soon!

Jesus modeled that the Christian life is lived in community. We learn to grow up in spiritual community, practice the one another commands of the Bible, and seek to become more like Jesus together. Community groups are one of the ways we seek to grow in grace together as we meet throughout the week in homes for meals, prayer, and sharing life together. We seek to have our community groups be neighborhood-based.

In order to regularly meet, we have set times and dates that we can build our schedules around. Our groups are open and meet every other week. During the fall season, our groups meet 8 times before taking two weeks off for Christmas. After the New Year, our groups meet 13 times in the winter and spring season with two months off for summer. If you were a part of a community group last spring, you can choose to be a part of the same group. If your schedule has changed or you'd like to join a new group, feel free to choose a different one!

All but one of our groups eat dinner together and include childcare. The discussion time then begins 30-45 minutes after dinner. Childcare is offered on a rotation from parents within the group. If you have any questions for a particular community group leader, you can leave those in the final section of the form and we'll connect you with that leader!
